Do I even have to say words about this session?

THE.MOST.FUN.EVER.

I only take up to 4 weddings a year, I got burnt out my first few years, saying YES to every wedding that came along. And, here lately I haven’t taken any weddings/bridals…. This renewed my LOVE for the white dress. We had so much fun. Emily was a GREAT sport, and ready to do anything! We climbed through fence, walked through woods, and drug her soaking wet self all over a lake! Not to mention it was 104 degrees!!! I am in LOVE with her pictures, I could seriously edit the ENTIRE 873 images we took…seriously. Hope you love them as much as I do!

so jason and i had this big plan…

jason gave his girlfriend a gift certificate to a couple session with me for her birthday.

well… that was just the first surprise!

during the session he planned on asking her to marry  him! then we decided how fun to have their parents looking on…

we decided to go to down town brenham, have their parents in a restaurant  watching the entire thing!

i got there first and found a viewable location from where the parents were going to be. we had a signal…

and she said YES!!!!

what a fun session! totally made my day!

what a way to get started back up from a busy summer full of family time!

i LOVED this session! as much as i adore seniors, it was a great change, and i don’t do many brides so it was fun!

here is just a sneak peek into one of the sweetest weddings i have ever seen…

they had a small intimate wedding ceremony on friday night in julie’s hometown. and had the reception on saturday for all their

friends and family to join in on the celebration. i can’t wait to get to the rest of the pictures, the details were amazing!

meet betsy and robert, what a cute couple…

i knew when i first talked to her, i was going to hit it off with her, and, yep…. i did!

robert is a professional fisherman, so pictures on the lake were a must.

he had a busy day and practically slid in on two wheels, we were fighting the light, but i think we got some great pictures!

i am sooo ready for julie and brandon’s wedding, it is going to be AMAZING! they are having a simple ceremony on friday night and the crazy, fun reception on saturday. how fun is that?  we met half way between the wedding location and the reception to do their engagements, and i think it turned out perfect!

young love….*sigh*, there is just something so sweet about it! this is tara and nate’s first christmas as a married couple. what an amazing couple, they giggled and laughed the entire time! there was truly something magical about their love for one another! i came home to a sick child, i will post more tomorrow, this is just a little teaser for them! the first pic is an all time fave of mine! thanks guys for all the laughs!

i have never had someone so concerned with taking a picture with me as this handsome guy! that was all he would talk about! sooo cute! and because i have so many AMAZING clients, i am going to give  you a little holiday treat! but…you will have to wait until the end of this post to know what it is! ha

let me start off by answering a little question that i get almost daily…

“how do you do it? how do you work and have 4 kids, a.n.d. are the PTO president, a.n.d. are in the middle of building a house? all of it? HOW DO YOU DO IT?

this blog is mainly all about my clients, and i like it that way, this life is NOT about me, however, i want my clients, potential clients, and clients that have turned into friends, to know a little about me! choosing a photographer is a BIG deal, i want you to know what you are choosing when you call me! 

how do i do it? the BEST i can, but there is NOT enough of me to go around and go around perfectly! i am NOT perfect! this season of my life has got to be hands down one of the most difficult i have ever gone through! but…it is the one i am the most GRATEFUL for! the LORD is pouring out His blessings on my family and i am truly OVERWHELMED! 

i am and have always been very right brained, i can draw, paint, mold clay (like i really need to admit that)! can do just about anything creative… but i can not add, subtract, multiply or divide, my oldest is in 4th grade, and i think i have topped out with his homework! i rely on spell check like it ain’t nobodies business! heck, i even make up words…my super smart, duke grad, friend, has learned over the years to understand me! (ha, now that is a true friend)  what i am getting at  is that i am not in this to be “business like”! i had a hobby, i loved to take pictures, i have had a camera in my hand for as long as i can remember! did i go to college for photography? NOPE…it was just a hobby! 

so… if you are looking for a photographer to meet you in her office and have her best attire on…you might not be looking for me! i will most likely be running from one school to the next with a cap on my head, getting ready for the next baseball game that i need to cheer my kids on at…i might smell like sawdust from being out at the house, and it will be a no surprise if the notes i take are written in a colored on notebook! but guess what?

I LOVE THAT! it is a constant reminder that my number one job is a MOTHER to four precious children that i WILL PUT NOTHING IN FRONT OF! if you love what i do, you will love that about me, if not, it does not offend me if you choose another photographer. i am WHO I AM and i will not change that!
